We leave a week from tomorrow. This is what I know:
We have a small house to ourselves. Since we're staying for an extended period, the program is using a second house for people who rotate through a few weeks at a time; so, no communal living!
We are going to have a cook and someone to do our laundry, which I'm told is "customary" (but for whom? wealthy expats?) ...feels a little weird.
We will not have hot water. Although, how cold can the water be? Or so I tell myself.
